I was in the garden and thinning carrots. I pulled a carrot and it was twisted together with another carrot. This is me (Myanna) and Antonio with our carrot.
Farm Stewards Jesus, Alice, and Teng and I are attending the 14th Annual Rooted in Community Conference. This year the conference is held in Ames, Iowa. Currently we are touring Table Top Farm, a 26-acre CSA and Market Farm and will be checking out a restored Prairie this afternoon.

Despite rainy mornings and the continued heat, we had a great week in Hawthorne. The youth in Frogtown have been staying busy despite the record setting summer heat.
